The ski holiday resort of Hinterglemm is part of the Ski Circus with the resorts of Saalbach and Leogang. The area is located conveniently close to Salzburg and offers a big ski area that is dominated by beginner and intermediate ski terrain. Hinterglemm and the neighbouring ski resorts offer the opportunity to cover long distances, essentially commuting between the ski areas, with an efficient bus service returning those skiers back to Hinterglemm, who have not the legs or time to make it back. The resort of Hinterglemm is less brash than Saalbach which is one of the most vibrant après ski scenes in Austria.
