Ski Kaprun - with a local glacier and located next to the world renowned ski resort of Zell am See.
The ski resort of Kaprun is part of the Europa Sport Region which offers an extensive ski area. The skiing is somewhat limited to intermediates even though it is connected to the neighbouring resort of Zell am See and the local glacier. Beginners have adequate provision but advanced skiers will have to venture off-piste to find the challenging ski terrain. The glacier offers both an expanded ski area and snow reliability which is of great use at the beginning or end of the season. The views from the glacier at Kaprun are impressive with the lake, Zell am See and the highest mountain in Austria, all visible.
