The ski resort of Fulpmes-Schlick, part of the Innsbruck ski region pass
The small ski resort of Fulpmes-Schlick, is well suited for the beginner / intermediate skier. Skiing takes place in a bowl that is surrounded by dramatic rock formations.
Close to Innsbruck and on the Innsbruck ski area pass, the visitor can use eight separate resorts all linked by free ski bus, including the snow guaranteed Stubai Glacier. The ski area at Fulpmes-Schlick is dramatically beautiful and is accessed by a gondola which rises up a long ridge, with views into the Stubai valley. The Fulpmes-Schlick ski area is surrounded by dramatic rock formations that rise high above the slopes. The skiing takes place within a natural bowl which offers some red pistes that run down to the base of the bowl, where blue runs then take the skier or boarder down to the main restaurant – the Schlickeralm, and beyond to the middle station and then Fulpmes itself. The ski area at Fulpmes-Schlick is small compared to many modern resorts but it is an ideal area for those not looking for too many challenges, or those looking to visit other ski resorts on the Innsbruck regional ski pass.
