Ski holidays in Gerlos, Zillertal Arena, Austria

Part of the Zillertal Arena ski arena, Gerlos is located at the decent altitude of 1250m and has an extensive ski area.

Gerlos is one of the main resorts in the Zillertal Arena ski area, the others being Zell am Ziller, Wald-Konigsleiten and Krimml. In total there are over 150km of ski piste, with the majority favouring the intermediate skier.

Down in the Ziller valley there is the famous ski resort of Mayrhofen and further is the Hintertux glacier to guarantee snow and provide summer skiing. There is a free ski bus running between the villages of Gerlos, Zell am Ziller, Wald-Konigsleiten and Krimml. Gerlos and the Zillertal Arena have an impressive snow record and a wide range of accommodation to choose from.
