Ski Kuhtai - the highest ski resort in Austria and close to the capital of Tirol, Innsbruck
The ski resort of Kuhtai, offers high altitude skiing – the resort village is the highest in Austria and abundant good quality snow is assured. The skiing in Kuhtai is predominantly intermediate and due to the altitude of the Kuhtai, the snow reliability is one of the best in Austria. The village of Kuhtai is compact but the ski area is of medium size, with ski pistes running down into the village, offering good access to the accommodation in Kuhtai. The resort is popular with locals and skiers from Innsbruck because of the snow reliability and Kuhtai is also a draw for touring skiers. There are currently plans and programs to extend and upgrade the lift infrastructure.
