I have not skied the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier this year but might give it a go on Tuesday, the weather looks superb. Set for more normal weather here in Innsbruck over the coming week but a great boost to the glaciers with that first winter snap. Solden on the weekend should be excellent. Let us know what is happening throughout the winter as we don’t venture east as much as we would like. Hi Derek

Big dump of snow has improved the skiing conditions. Last year the snow came on the same week as this years, so fingers crossed for another excellent skiing season has last year. I am not sure I would take my best skis on the lower section but I would be confident of getting down. And the best thing is that it is supposed to be cold and snowy until into next week. This is an ideal start to the winter that is for sure.
