Just back in Innsbruck after the ski trip to Davos and the frigid temperatures of the Swiss Davos / Klosters region have been experienced in the Austrian Tirol as well. Snow is set to fall over the coming days and the forecast for the Arlberg region is for some great snowfall tomorrow and then a powder bonanza the following days. Heavy snow is also forecast early next week. Once again the months of March and April deliver big snow in Austria.
very nice forecast for the next few days. i love the month of march and april. i had my best day of the season last saturday getting first tracks on hafelekar at nordkette. they had about 35cm of powder. very very nice!
Yes I think I was driving the day you got the powder, there was so much in the Arlberg it was incredible. I was stuck in traffic jams with 4 wheel drive Audi and BMW cars strewn on the autobahn - luckily the Renault and its new winter tyres just ploughed through it all.
