In the land of the snow it snows

Snow is due all week in the Austrian Alps whilst temperatures on the long term forecast are set to be colder. Tomorrow in the Innsbruck region snow should fall to around 1000m whilst mid-week the snow level is set to fall. The ski areas in the west of Tirol and in Salzburgerland are forecast get the best of the snow, with resorts in the Ski Welt, the Kitzbuheler Alpen and Ski Amade all doing well this week. Snow is forecast throughout the week and the following week the temperatures are set be below freezing for the duration of the week. Many of the Austrian non-glacier resorts will be set to open after this next winter snap.
