Yes and from a selfish point of view then I could not imagine being without the sheer beauty of fresh snow on a freezing day at 3000m. And if I can’t do that then there is going to be associated tragedy at sea level all over the world.

Well that will be decided in Copenhagen in December - if business as usual prevails, they are gone for sure. Even if the delegates aren’t skiers or snowboarders, I hope they realise glaciers are natures’ reservoirs - without them there are going to be a hell of a lot of dusty fields and thirsty people.
