So one of our last launches for the winter is Skidiots.com - a collection of ski and snowboard crashes from the dark side. Scouring the popular video channels for ski crashes in our spare time it became clear that there are quite incredible crashes on film from around the world. Skidiots.com is an attempt to bring the best of them together on one platform – to give due respect to those who have pushed it to the absolute limits in the mountains and have invariably come unstuck. It is fair to say that each clip offers us mortals a glimpse of talent and heroism that we would all like to posses – although by the end of each featured video it is clear the sacrifice these skiers and snowboarders have made in reaching beyond the normal limits. Heroes – every single one of them.

It is a terrible human trait but I do find myself smiling when the skier is lying down, completely ruined and adjusting their goggles – we have all been there. I think the speed was the real killer in this one. First the ankles and then two hard, hard impacts – nicht gut! This was one committed skier though with that speed!
