The idea was to create a pulley system attached to a skier that accelerated a zipflbob riders down a slope and fire them off a cliff (in the days before fatherhood and with comprehesive health insurance). Sadly the belays broke loose and we lost much of the catapult effect. Sadly? Maybe not actually as we managed about 6m through the air without being launched.
