Yes there is a big debate going on anyway about when to get Josh on skis. My thinking is that I will get on skis at the earliest and safest time for the first time, he can then wait till he goes next - I give him this early start and then don’t push him. I don’t see him sitting with a games console in hand in a couple of year’s time with fresh February snow on the ground but I am also not going to drag him up the mountain - apart from on the 1st October 2010 at the Stubai Glacier :)

Yep, i think Stubai would definately be the best introduction for Josh. Nice to hear the snow is coming down, it's never too early that sort of music.

Hey John, last weekend was more like dumb and dumber. Josh is a mighty handful these days, he can talk but I can’t understand him. The exchanges are plentiful and fun but rarely lead to any calls to action. I am off to the Hintertux Glacier on Thursday and was so tempted to take him along but I think I will save it until the beginning of October on the Stubai Glacier - the top station at the Hintertux Glacier isn’t the best learning ground for a 16 month old. Cold weather over here today and tons of snow falling on the peaks, it might be august but that rush of excitement was there again today as you could feel the snow dumping at high altitudes. hope all is good for you guys.
