The snow continues to fall on the glaciers

I am not sure the ever increasing number of sandy beach bars will appreciate the weather around Innsbruck but those still heading to the slopes of the Stubai or Hintertux Glacier will care very little. There has been further snow over the last few days and whilst temperatures have not fallen as far as last week the snow conditions on the local glaciers are excellent. The construction teams on the Stubai Glacier who are redeveloping the Eisgrat lift and restaurant complex may be another group who were expecting short sleeves rather than Gore-Tex. Sorry guys but long may it snow!
