GERLOS APRES SKI

Gerlos après ski is rated as some of the very best in the region. The action often starts on the mountain in one of the many ski huts that dot the area and continues in the resort of Gerlos after the lifts close, often around the ski lift base station and in the centre of Gerlos. Gerlos is very popular with Dutch skiers and snowboarders and the après ski action is very international in feeling.

GERLOS APRES SKI

Gerlos has the best après ski in the Zillertal Arena. It is concentrated in the mountain huts in Gerlos as well as the lift base stations and the centre of Gerlos resort. Other options in the Zillertal Arena include Zell am Ziller which can be reached on skis or by road. Zell am Ziller offers a very different après ski to Gerlos and is a working town rather than a ski holiday resort like Gerlos. There are many more locals and the après ski tends to be less ski boot dancing in umbrella bars and more town centre bars. The other resorts in the Zillertal Arena are Konigsleiten which has OK après ski but is quieter than Gerlos and also Hochkrimml which is quieter again.
