HOCHKRIMML, AUSTRIA FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Hochkrimml is the ski-in, ski-out satellite resort that is located at the far end (heading from the Zillertal Valley) of the Zillertal Arena ski region. Hochkrimml offers great access to the slopes and the terrain is perfect for beginners with nearly all the ski pistes in Hochkrimml being wide and gentle. At resort level in Hochkrimml there are a series of short beginners lifts that serve a large beginners ski area. Hochkrimml is an ideal base for family ski holidays.

The skiing in Hochkrimml takes place at the far end of the Zillertal Arena (coming from the Zillertal Valley) and offers the biggest range of the easiest skiing in the whole Zillertal Arena. The ski pistes at Hochkrimml tend to be very gentle and wide and from Hochkrimml it is possible to ski down to the valley station that links into the section of the Konigsleiten ski area that is also ideal for beginners and families. For progressing beginners and family skiers who want to see more of the Zillertal Arena then Hochkrimml is also ideal in that respect. Hochkrimml is a satellite resort of the bigger village of Krimml that is located down in the valley. Hochkrimml is a ski-in, ski-out resort with a number of hotels and restaurants. For those needing more shops then Krimml is on hand down in the valley or Gerlos, another ski holiday resort in the Zillertal Arena which has a main shopping street. After dark then Hochkrimml is a relaxed, quiet place. There are a couple of après ski hubs in Hochkrimml but the action dies down early on to leave a pretty peaceful resort atmosphere.
