Kitzbuhel après ski is some of the best in the region. The range of bars and clubs in Kitzbuhel is mighty impressive and the ski area is dotted with enticing mountain huts that are hard to ski past. The Hahnenkamm ski race weekend each January in Kitzbuhel offers possibly the biggest annual party in the Alps. There is a great range of entertainment on offer in Kitzbuhel from small locals’ bars to high-end venues with celebrity crowds. Kitzbuhel has great diversity but also a common purpose of celebration.

KITZBUHEL APRES SKI - STREIFALM TO THE LONDONER

Bars such as the Londoner and the Streifalm are famed for their après ski. The Streifalm is located on the lower slopes of the Hahnenkamm ski route and for those having tackled the fearsome ski route it is customary to kick off the skis and get some Kitzbuhel après ski reward. Incidentally the Streifalm also serves the local beginners area - not all visitors are budding racers! Mountain huts are located all over the Kitzbuhel ski area and most are highly popular with passing skiers and snowboarders. The Londoner pub is located in the centre of Kitzbuhel and offers après ski mayhem till late. Both have a well earned reputation as après ski venues of some repute. Kitzbuhel though offers a plethora of post ski entertainment including fine dining as well as bars and restaurants that are more geared to the local workers budgets - same atmospheric location, same products, just better value and in many cases more authentic atmosphere. For those needing a mountain fix in the evening, local mountain huts offer atmospheric settings or try the restaurant at the top of the Hahnenkamm lift.
