Kitzbuhel skiing has a good to deal to offer the family. On the edge of Kitzbuhel are the beginners and family ski areas. These areas offer extensive terrain and facilities for kids, whilst the Hahnenkamm gondola offers direct access from Kitzbuhel to some pretty gentle ski terrain for families with progressing kids. The skiing in Kitzbuhel is almost all below the tree line offering families better visibility when the weather is poor and the numerous tracks that link ski areas in Kitzbuhel and are the bane of snowboarders offer some gentle gradients for kids to safely navigate. On the slopes there are a number of large lift and restaurant hubs that offer a range of facilities for families. In the resort of Kitzbuhel the central pedestrianised area is ideal for families to wander between shops and restaurants without having to contend with road traffic.
