The resort is ski-in, ski-out and is located close to the centre of the fantastic Zillertal Arena ski region, whilst the accommodation in Konigsleiten is ski-in, ski-out. The main road connecting Salzburg and Tirol passes below the ski holiday resort so any traffic in the ski holiday resort is usually very light making for a wonderful atmosphere. The skiing in Konigsleiten and the Zillertal Arena is outstanding for intermediate skiers and snowboarders with great distances available to be covered. Beginners have skiing in the heart of Konigsleiten whilst there is pretty easily accessed and good off-piste for the better skiers and snowboarders. The resort of Konigsleiten is attractive and low rise and is often drenched in snow, lifts run from below Konigsleiten making it ski-in, ski-out. The centre of Konigsleiten has a few shops and facilities and the atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. Konigsleiten as a family skiing resort is ideal given its atmosphere, proximity of the beginners area and ski-in, ski-out nature of the resort.
