KONIGSLEITEN FAMILY SKIING – SKI-IN, SKI-OUT FAMILY RESORT

The convenience of ski-in, ski-out slope-side accommodation is always a great attraction for families with kids and Konigsleiten offers this as well as a kids / beginners ski area located in the centre of Konigsleiten. Additionally the main road that links Konigsleiten to Tirol and Salzburgerland runs below the resort and diverts the traffic going through the region away from the resort of Konigsleiten. Any traffic in Konigsleiten is local, making for a quiet roads in the resort.

KONIGSLEITEN – IDEAL FAMILY SKIING AREA

The skiing in Konigsleiten is ideally suited to families. Getting to and from Konigsleiten accommodation is simple as it is a ski-in, ski-out ski holiday resort. The centre of Konigsleiten resort contains the kids / beginners ski area that has a lift and is separate from the main ski area. Additionally there is a further and larger beginners ski area just on the edge of Konigsleiten, with ski lifts, gentle terrain and kids learning programs. Skiing through this beginners ski area down toward the valley gives access to the connecting ski lift into the Hochkrimml ski area, a ski area that contains almost all gentle ski terrain, is ideal for progressing beginners and is part of the Zillertal Arena ski lift pass. The ski area above Konigsleiten offers excellent intermediate skiing and snowboarding and links into the Gerlos ski area with its large kids ski area at mid-station. For families with improving kids in tow then the Konigsleiten and Zillertal Arena ski area is ideal to explore and develop in. Trails run through Konigsleiten for families returning to their accommodation.
