KUHTAI SKI HOLIDAYS – HIGH AND SNOW SURE

Located at over 2000m Kuhtai is one of the highest and most snow sure ski holiday resorts in Austria. It is located on a high pass between the Innsbruck valley and the Otztal valley. And with a top ski lift height of over 2500m the snow record in Kuhtai is one that can very much be relied upon. The ski holiday resort of Kuhtai stretches along the mountain pass with skiing located on either side of the valley. Most of the hotels and accommodation in Kuhtai are ski-in, ski-out.

KUHTAI SKI HOLIDAYS – IDEAL FAMILY SKI HOLIDAY RESORT

The skiing and layout of Kuhtai make it an ideal location for family ski holidays. The ski-in, ski-out resort accommodation is a great feature for families in the morning and at the end of the day. Hotels and accommodation in Kuhtai are particularly easy to get to and from throughout the day given the narrow depth of the resort of Kuhtai. The skiing in Kuhtai ranges between beginner and intermediate skiing – there are just one or two steep sections in the Kuhtai ski area. Most of the skiing consists of pretty wide ski pistes, all of which takes place above the tree line due to the height of the resort and top lift at Kuhtai. The resort itself features a couple of kids / beginners ski areas for families to drop off their children. For intermediates the skiing and snowboarding in Kuhtai is ideal although better skiers or snowboarders might exhaust the skiing before the end of a week there. But for less advanced skiers, families, children and beginners then the access to the gentle ski pistes from the resort is a great feature.
