Ladis is spread across rolling fields with a castle occupying a high pint in the resort. Views onto the castle and further across the local glaciers, as well as the spacious nature of Ladis have earned Ladis the reputation of being the romantic ski holiday resort of the 3. A gondola links Ladis to the heart of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region, from that point the skiing opens up into a superb ski area.

The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region is rated as one of the very best in the Alps and Ladis has some of the best terrain for beginners and family skiers in the combined Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region. Ladis is connected to the main kids ski area in Fiss-Ladis section of the ski area by gondola and at the mid-station between Fiss and Ladis there is an impressive childrens and beginners ski area as well as a large restaurant. The gondola is available for download back to Ladis as well as a long and gentle ski piste from the mid-station back into Ladis. The Ladisabfahrt features an Indian themed village for kids and families to stop. There is also a beginners ski tow at the edge of the resort near the gondola. For better skiers and snowboarders the Ladis gondola connects directly into the heart of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region with plenty of red ski pistes on offer above Fiss. Further afield there is the Serfaus ski area that offers superb intermediate skiing and snowboarding as well as some great off-piste in the large natural bowls that are a feature of the Serfaus ski area.
