Being part of the Zillertal 3000 ski region, Lanersbach offers a superb range of skiing that includes the snow sure Hintertux Glacier, Finkenberg and the Mayrhofen area. Mayrhofen offers some great off-piste skiing and snowboarding. Lanersbach is one of the last resorts before the Hintertux Glacier with year-round skiing.

LANERSBACH SKI HOLIDAYS IN THE ZILLERTAL 3000 SKI REGION

Lanersbach is located in the Zillertal 3000 ski region and directly links into the Mayrhofen and Finkenberg ski areas. Lanersbach is also one of the last ski holiday resorts before the Hintertux Glacier that offers year round skiing. As such the location of Lanersbach at the upper reaches of the Zillertal Valley is ideal. The skiing directly above Lanersbach takes place in the Eggalm ski area and from there it is possible to ski into Finkenberg and on into Mayrhofen. The ski area linking these regions is called the Rastkogel and offers more intermediate skiing that takes place at a good height. In the opposite, southerly direction is the Hintertux Glacier, with year round skiing up to 3250m. Lanersbach the resort is located in the narrow part of the upper Zillertal Valley and is a traditional Austrian farming village / ski holiday resort and at an altitude of 1300m the resort is pretty snow sure. One ski pass covers the entire Zillertal 3000 ski region and for those looking for snow security as well as an extensive ski area then Lanersbach is great option.
