LECH APRES SKI – QUALITY SLOPESIDE APRES SKI

Lech après ski is more about quality slope-side food and drink than ski boot dancing and umbrella bars. Lech am Arlberg has an air of quality running throughout the whole resort and whilst it may be tough to find ski boot dancing and euro-pop blaring out till late, it is easy to find a superbly located terrace or slope side bar from which to celebrate a day in the Lech ski area. The centre of Lech am Arlberg is fairly compact and along the edge of the river there are outdoor bars that offer great views of the ski area and the resort.

LECH APRES SKI – FINE WINES AND FOOD RATHER THAN SKI BOOT DANCING

Lech après ski is all about quality. Austria is famed for its après ski but in Lech après ski tends to be a bit more refined with fine food, drink and service. Oberlech offers numerous slope side hotel terraces and deck chair areas with table service and top range food and drinks on offer. The setting is often superb with ski pistes running next to the terraces and the views across the valley above Lech quite exceptional. Down in the resort of Lech there are a number of outdoor bars in the hotels and there is often a great atmosphere, jovial in nature rather than raucous. At night Oberlech and Lech are connected by cable car that runs till after midnight allowing guests of either location the chance to visit the other for food or drink. Neither Lech nor Oberlech really offer anything along the lines of après ski of the Solden or St Anton type. Lech though has the best bar action of Lech, Zurs or Oberlech.
