LECH FAMILY SKIING – CHILD FRIENDLY LECH SKI RESORT

The skiing and resort of Lech am Arlberg make it a great location for family ski holidays. The resort of Lech am Arlberg is pretty compact with few facilities too far away. The centre of the resort has a number of shops and can be accessed via the riverside paths that form part of the winter walking trail network in Lech am Arlberg. The skiing in the combined Lech-Zurs ski area is ideal for families with tree-lined skiing lower down and plenty of gentle intermediate skiing in the area.

The ski area above Lech am Arlberg consists of mainly intermediate ski pistes with little steep or difficult skiing. The lower slopes are tree-lined which is ideal in times of bad weather, whilst the ski lifts in Lech am Arlberg are rarely far from the main accommodation in the resort. And for immediate access to the Lech am Arlberg ski pistes, Oberlech offers a total ski-in, ski-out ski holiday resort some 200m above Lech itself. On the mountain there are numerous, well equipped mountain huts. The childrens learning are in Lech is located close to the centre of the resort whilst the ski schools in Lech are rated as some of the very best in the Alps. The skiing beyond Lech in the Lech-Zurs ski region is also pretty child and family friendly with ski bridges in Zurs connecting the 2 sides of the ski area.
