GREAT VALUE SKI HOLIDAYS
NASSFELD SKI HOLIDAYS – SUNNY SOUTHERLY SKIING
Nassfeld boasts one of the biggest ski and snowboard regions in the south of Austria. The lift system has seen great investment over recent years and it is both modern and extensive. The Nassfeld ski area is also expansive with over 100kms of ski and snowboard pistes. Most of the ski terrain is suited to intermediates and there is ample terrain for most on a week long holiday. The southerly location of Nassfeld ensures that it enjoys far more daylight and sunshine than some of the more northern ski holiday resorts in the Alps. The location of Nassfeld on the border with Italy also ensures that the region has a very different feel to other areas such the Tirol. Italian visitors to Nassfeld create a real Italian atmosphere and far fewer Germans or Dutch travel so far south since there are very many other options en route from the northern European countries. This is one of the charms of Nassfeld and for those flying into Klagenfurt the transfer to Nassfeld is a pretty short one. Slovenians are also regular visitors to the Nassfeld area to further the unique feel of the place.
