Right above Neustift is the Elfer ski area that is served by a modern gondola right out of the resort, whilst back toward Innsbruck is the Schlick 2000 ski area and heading south is the extensive and impressive Stubai Glacier ski area. Neustift is very much a ski village with all the ski resources it has in its locality. The ski holiday resort of Neustift is large, well equipped and all low rise. It has superb views of the local glaciers and is the main resort serving the Stubai Glacier. Neustift has a public leisure centre as well as numerous other resort facilities. Neustift family skiing takes place in either the resort centre or around the Gamsgarten lift station on the Stubai Glacier, rated as some of the best kids ski infrastructure around. Neustift has a decent mix après ski, starting at the base station at the Stubai Glacier and with numerous bars in Neustift or down the road in Innsbruck.
