NEUSTIFT APRES SKI – LIVELY AND POPULAR APRES SKI RESORT

Neustift après ski is lively in the resort and whilst it will never hit the heights of St Anton or Solden, Neustift has a pretty reasonable après ski scene. There are a number of mountain huts and restaurants on the Stubai Glacier but these close promptly so that people can be ushered to the valley floor. Après ski action after the lifts close often starts at the Stubai Glacier base station with a cluster of terrace bars offering euro-pop remixes and people sliding or dancing in ski boots.

NEUSTIFT APRES SKI – APRES SKI OPTIONS NORTH AND SOUTH

Neustift has a fair number of bars in the resort centre and after the après ski celebrations have died down at the Stubai Glacier base station many head back north along the Stubai valley to Neustift with the pick probably being the Dorf Pub. Neustift is certainly no St Anton or Solden but bars in the centre of Neustift are often busy into the night. Carrying on further north is the region capital of Tirol, Innsbruck. Innsbruck has a huge variety of bars and clubs, with the range from student hangout to city centre wine bar. All this takes place in the heart of a medieval historic city that is full of atmosphere. Prices are generally very reasonable for eating and drinking and whilst it is tough to find any ski boots in bars after dark in Innsbruck, the mix and quality of evening entertainment in Innsbruck is superb. The Christmas markets in Innsbruck in the run up to Christmas and New Year are full of atmosphere and are a great place to eat, drink and socialise in the early evenings.
