GROUP SKI HOLIDAYS – WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Ski groups are likely to have mixed ability skiers and snowboarders and therefore good sized and varied terrain is useful. Ski and snowboard groups often need communal areas either in their private accommodation or shared with other guests – a bar usually suffices for many but is not guaranteed in all accommodation. Select a resort with a variety of amenities and entertainment so all tastes in your ski group are covered. We have featured some resorts for ideas below but in Austria there are endless options for ski groups.

The ski holiday resort of Kitzbuhel has to be one of the very best destinations in the Alps. The medieval centre has a superb atmosphere and architecture. Nightlife is varied and abundant and shopping and dining options are really excellent. The facilities and amenities in Kitzbuhel are endless in this year-round holiday resort.

INNSBRUCK – NO TRANSFER

Innsbruck is one of the best locations for group holidays wanting a short airport transfer. The Innsbruck transfer is almost non-existent. Groups can pass through passport control and be on a ski lift in less than 20 minutes or alternatively be at their hotel in 10 minutes. The city is one of the best equipped destinations in the Alps.

ZURS - CORPORATE GROUPS

With ski-in, ski-out, upmarket accommodation then Zurs am Arlberg is ideal for corporate groups. The resort is part of the famous Lech – Zurs ski region and has good connections to St Anton and its superb ski area.
