SKI REGIONS AND LIFT LINKED SKI AREAS IN AUSTRIA
Linked ski areas offer the skier or snowboarder the chance to cover large distances, get varied terrain and in some cases, mitigate against poor weather conditions. Even when not directly lift linked, ski regions with shared ski passes allow the visitor to experience the best of the area. Despite wrangling farmers and warring local authorities, Austria has seen a rise in the linked ski region over recent years with resorts offering shared ski areas / passes and there are some big plans to link some of the leading regions in the future.
