The huts feature outdoor terraces and alpine remixed euro-pop is often audible from mid afternoon for passing skiers and snowboarders. There aren’t too many blue ski pistes from the Solden ski area back into the resort so this is something to consider for those who are more experienced on a bar stool than skis or a snowboard. Downloading on the main gondolas is the best option for anyone indulging in Solden après ski on the mountain. In Solden itself the resort throngs with après ski during peak times with indoor and outdoor bars lining the main street in Solden. There is everything on offer from simple bars to adult entertainment. Solden hosts events throughout the season and they start with the opening FIS ski race on the Solden glaciers in October. These events are very well supported by local après ski revellers, whilst New Year sees one of the biggest parties in the Alps.
