SOLDEN SKI RESORT – LARGE AND WELL EQUIPPED

Solden ski resort is one of the biggest in the Alps, it is a narrow ski holiday resort that runs along the valley floor and alongside the resort river. Hotels and accommodation are located on both sides of the river. The main road in Solden is the focal point for the après ski action that Solden is famous for, whilst it is also the main road route through Solden and is the location for the majority of shops. Ski lifts leave from each end of Solden and several ski pistes wind their way back to the resort.

Hochsolden is a totally ski-in, ski-out resort located at 2090m and connected to Solden by road, ski lift and ski piste, but in almost every respect Hochsolden is very different. Hochsolden is quiet, its facilities are almost all hotel based and après ski is very relaxed. For those wanting a tranquil stay in the centre of the superb Solden ski area then Hochsolden is ideal.
