In terms of family skiing then Soll offers a beginners / family ski area located just on the edge of Soll as well as another dedicated area at the mid-station at Hochsoll. The main gondola out of Soll offers a safe exit or download to the valley for kids and families and away from the steep ski terrain at the Hohe Salve the skiing in Soll and the Ski Welt in general is ideal for beginners and intermediates. The ski lift system and on-mountain facilities are generally modern and impressive in the Ski Welt. In the ski holiday resort of Soll then there are numerous relaxed and quiet areas away from the apres ski / nightlife in the centre of Soll. Soll is a year-round resort and there are a good range of facilities on offer in addition to the snow activities and shopping in the resort. Since the main valley road passes by Soll the traffic in Soll tends to be local and lighter as a result. And heading from either Innsbruck airport or Munich airport (one of the closest resorts to the airport) the road transfers are almost all autobahn with no winding roads.
