ADVANCED / EXPERT SKIING IN ST ANTON

St Anton am Arlberg is amongst the elite tough ski areas in the Alps with terrain to challenge advanced and expert skiers both on and off-piste. The snow record of the Arlberg is one of the very best in Europe and in the adjoining area of Stuben am Arlberg there exists possibly the best lift (and short ski tour) accessed off-piste in the Alps. Heli-skiing operates out of Lech and Zurs and the routes down from the Valluga are legendary. Ski guides are mandatory in the many sections of the St Anton off-piste area and come with a superb reputation.

TRY & AVOID - EXPERTS

TRY - get a guide and let them show you some of the best tough skiing in the Alps

AVOID - the big queues to the Valluga on a powder day, head to Rendl or Stuben instead
