St Anton family skiing revolves around the childrens ski area operated by the St Anton ski schools which is located on the edge of the resort centre. For kids learning to ski this is where families will coordinate activities. For more advanced skiing families then the St Anton and Arlberg ski area offers a huge region of intermediate skiing. St Christoph is one of the options that is easily accessed from St Anton and offers gentle and relaxed ski terrain and slope-side restaurants and terraces. The centrally located main lifts that access Galzig and Rendl are both modern gondolas that offer families comfort and safety as well as the ability to download into St Anton at the end of the day. Off the slopes then families in the resort of St Anton can enjoy the pedestrianised centre which includes walking trails around the former site of the St Anton railway station as well as the main street in St Anton. The leisure / spa complex in St Anton is open to the public. Traffic is diverted out of the resort centre of St Anton and tends to be light around the main resort centre.
