STUBEN APRES SKI – REFINED SUN TERRACES

Stuben is a refined ski holiday resort with an air of quality and style. Stuben après ski is similarly refined with euro-pop something of a rarity in the resort. Stuben après ski tends to be more cordial and sociable and focuses on good food and drink. The Albona mid-station is a decent place to stop in the afternoon, whilst there are a number of sun terraces tucked away around Stuben for some afternoon relaxation and drinking. There are some top skiers in Stuben, be careful with the hero stories as the evening progresses.

STUBEN APRES SKI – ST ANTON IS AN EVENING OUT OPTION

Après ski in Stuben is somewhat marginalised by the action over the Arlberg Pass in St Anton am Arlberg. St Anton offers an altogether different après ski scene with a vastly bigger resort and a real international mix of guests to St Anton, the après ski in St Anton is tough to beat anywhere. For those staying in Stuben and wanting to sample après ski of the highest quality, it is possible to ski into the St Anton ski area from Stuben and stop off at the famous Mooserwirt après ski bar. After this place closes skiers and snowboarders head down the remaining ski piste into the resort centre of St Anton. The centre of St Anton sees a great deal of après ski action that can run until late in the night. Taxis run over the Arlberg Pass from St Anton to Stuben and the distance is around 12km. In poor weather then the Arlberg Pass can be shut and the alternative route is via the Arlberg tunnel. If you love après ski as much as Stuben powder then St Anton is a must visit après ski spot, even for a night of mayhem.
