VANDANS, MONTAFON, AUSTRIA SKI HOLIDAYS

Vandans is one of the ski holiday resorts in the Montafon ski area and has direct lift and ski piste access to and from the Golm ski area. Vandans is located toward the winter entrance to the Montafon ski area and is close to the facilities on offer in Schruns, possibly the best equipped resort in the Montafon region. The Golm ski area is good for beginners and intermediates whilst those staying in Vandans can also ski and snowboard in the other Montafon ski areas that are covered on the Montafon ski pass.

VANDANS SKI HOLIDAYS – EXTENSIVE MONTAFON SKIING

The Golm ski area is lift and ski piste linked from Vandans – the 3 stage Golmerbahn reaches into the heart of the Golm ski area, from there a couple of chair options take the skier or snowboarder to the peak of the Golm ski area. There is both a ski route and a ski piste running back to Golm down in the valley. The vertical on offer in the Golm ski area is a creditable 1500m and whilst Golm is not as extensive as the Silvretta Nova ski area in Montafon it has enough terrain to keep the beginner and lower intermediate happy. For more ski and snowboard options there is the Montafon Hochjoch ski area located across the valley above Schruns. And further down the valley the Silvretta Nova ski area offers a good sized ski and snowboard area that also boasts a considerable terrain park in its area. Gargellen is the other ski area of note in the Montafon ski region, is the highest of all of the ski holiday resorts in Montafon and also has some interesting intermediate ski terrain. All the ski areas in the Montafon ski region are covered by one Montafon ski pass.
