WESTENDORF, AUSTRIA SKI HOLIDAYS
The ski holiday resort of Westendorf is part of the Ski Welt ski region and is now lift linked directly into Brixen. The Ski Welt is the biggest lift linked ski area in Austria, whilst in the other direction the Westendorf ski pistes lead to Kitzbuhel, one of the most famous ski holiday resorts in Austria. Westendorf has an enviable position in the centre of this impressive and huge ski region. The skiing in Westendorf is great for intermediates and the resort is low-rise and attractive – nothing new there really then in Austria.

WESTENDORF SKIING – BIGGEST LIFT LINKED SKIING IN AUSTRIA
The ski area above Westendorf is complemented by huge ski resources on either side. On one side the biggest lift linked ski area in Austria awaits, whilst in the other direction the Kitzbuhel and Pass Thurn ski region is accessible. Westendorf really is in the centre of some of the biggest skiing and snowboarding in Austria. The Westendorf ski area has a fair range of terrain in it. At resort level in Westendorf there is a dedicated kids / learners ski area, whilst much of the skiing above Westendorf is ideal for intermediates as well as progressing beginner skiers and snowboarders. From the top of the Choralmbahn there is some steep terrain for the better skiers and snowboarders heading back toward Westendorf. The Kitzbuhel ski area offers impressive intermediate ski and snowboard resources with skiing possible until Pass Thurn, whilst the Ski Welt has similar intermediate terrain as well as some steep ski terrain at the Hohe Salve. From Westendorf it is possible to ski all the way over to Ellmau and Going at the far end of the Ski Welt.
