Zurs am Arlberg is a 1700m+ ski holiday resort in the Arlberg ski region, offering ski-in, ski-out accommodation, high end hotels and has the second best snowfall record in the entire Alps. And if those are not sufficient reason to ski Zurs, then the Zurs ski lifts and pistes are linked with the neighbouring Lech am Arlberg to form the combined Lech-Zurs ski region. Zurs am Arlberg really does have a great ski region above of its ski holiday resort, whilst down the valley are the great ski areas Stuben, St Anton and St Christoph.

The Arlberg rates as one of the best ski regions in the world. Arlberg skiing is diverse with St Anton offering superb steeps, Stuben am Arlberg having the best off-piste powder skiing in Austria whilst Lech am Arlberg has style and great intermediate skiing and snowboarding. Zurs am Arlberg is ski lift and ski piste linked to Lech am Arlberg to form the hugely impressive Lech-Zurs ski region. The ‘White Ring’ ski circuit leaves Lech am Arlberg and loops through Zurs, on into Zug before returning to Lech. For the recreational skier or snowboarder then the White Ring is a superb ski route taking in some real superb terrain, whilst annually it hosts a race by the same name that is undertaken at rather less sedate speeds. As well as the convenience of the ski-in, ski-out resort of Zurs am Arlberg, the snow record is one thing that sets this ski holiday resort apart - Zurs am Arlberg gets the second highest recorded snowfall of any ski holiday resort in the Alps, the first being just over the valley in Warth. For high end skiing and staying, Zurs am Arlberg is very tough to beat.
