April continues to erase the memory of the dry December conditions, with another truly epic day in the Lech Zürs ski area. Deserted, the slopes weren’t but for those on the first lifts the best spring day of the season was available. The pistes were groomed with soft new snow, whilst the off-piste, especially those north facing slopes on the routes down to Zug were epic. The trees were weighed down with new snow and the skies were a piercing blue. By lunchtime it was time for some famous Arlberg gastronomy on a sunny terrace. Who remembers December after a April like this one?

Skiing Austria There can’t be too many better places to be than the Austria Arlberg on a blue sky day following a large dump of snow.
