Incredible as it may sound to snow junkies, not every person heading to a ski resort will want to ski or snowboard. Sometimes people are injured, other times they feign it to reside in the après ski bars. But having a wide range of ‘non-skier’ activities helps group harmony and adds to the options of those wanting a break from skiing or snowboarding.
The range of attractions of the snow varies significantly with the resort. Some activities are high-octane pursuits such as paragliding, ice driving or Olympic bobsled, whilst others are more sedate, such as winter walks or day spas. A range of on and off-snow activities can transform the trip into an inclusive event rather than a short ski trip.
