Zürs am Arlberg is as exclusive as you get in Austria. At 1700m+ the ski resort offers ski in, ski out accommodation, high-end hotels and has the second-best snowfall record in the entire Alps. Additionally, the Zürs ski lifts and pistes are linked with the neighbouring Lech am Arlberg to form the combined Lech-Zürs ski region.
The recent Flexenbahn lift link to St Anton, ensures that the entire Arlberg ski region is accessible on the snow from Zürs am Arlberg - the best ski region in Austria and many argue, the Alps.
Accommodation and skiing are located on either side of the main road to Lech am Arlberg. Ski bridges cross the road and hotels have immediate or easy to the slopes and lifts. Lech is just a few minutes down the road from Zürs and offers further dining, shopping and entertainment.

Zürs occupies one of the most fortunate locations in the Alps. It has been calculated to receive the second highest snowfall accumulation in the Alps, with Warth, the ski area on the other side of Lech am Arlberg, receiving the most. Zürs also occupies the central location in the Arlberg ski region with Lech am Arlberg and Warth to the north and St Anton and Stuben to the south.
The piste skiing above Zürs is an intermediate’s dream – hugely scenic trails run both sides of resort, connected by ski bridges over the main road, with hotels and restaurants all reachable by ski piste. For better skiers and snowboarders, the off-piste in Zürs is outstanding, with lift-access powder fields, buried deep in Arlberg snow.
The Lech ski area can be reached on the ‘White Ring’ ski circuit – a fantastic loop that takes in the best of the Lech Zürs ski area. Warth skiing is ideal for intermediates and is located just beyond Lech, whilst in the opposite direction are the legendary powder fields of the Albona, high above Stuben, as well as the world-famous steep pistes and off-piste of St Anton.
The off-piste skiing around Zürs is fantastic whilst guides can be hired to take small groups on heli-skiing tours of the local back-country - one of the ultimate experiences for any skier and an absolute highlight for a corporate ski event.

Zürs is the smaller resort of the combined Lech Zürs destination. It is higher at over 1700m and most of the accommodation is ski-in, ski-out or with immediate access to the snow and lifts. There are several excellent hotels and chalets, offering superb service and facilities.
Outside of the accommodation, there is less in the way of facilities, compared to Lech – much more is on offer just down the road in Lech. Guests to Zürs will often wander between the hotel bars to sample fire-side Zürs by night.
Zürs après ski is all about fine wines, sheepskin rugs and conversation. There are a few terraces in the centre of Zürs where people meet to sip on their drinks and bathe themselves in Arlberg sun but you won’t find a ski boot on a table anywhere in Zürs.
For this type of sundown revelry then St Anton just down the road offers is one of the best in the business. Taxis run between the resorts and it is easily possible to enjoy the mayhem of St Anton après ski and be dressed up in time for a Zürs dinner appointment.
The Lech am Alrberg Congress Centre (opened 2024) offers fantastic formal meeting spaces for those planning a meeting component during a summer corporate event in Zürs. Modular spaces, stunning architecture and superb quality ensure this is one of the most impressive congress centres in the entire Alps.
There are several rooms in hotels and restaurants in both Lech & Zürs that can be used for small and medium-sized seminars and meetings, whilst Zug offers some wonderful, traditional venues.
Lech & Zürs offer some excellent activities both on and off the snow with accessing the prized off-piste terrain by helicopter an absolute highlight for skiers and snowboarders.
