The Ice Q restaurant will open to the public from next weekend but today the first visitors were able to get a look at the dramatic exterior of this 3000m+ restaurant. There is a wine cellar at 3048m (maybe a record for Austria) as well as a roof top terrace and lounge from which to take in the incredible surroundings.
The redevelopment of the Gaislachkogel gondola in 2010 has now been complemented by this daring and dramatic development at the Gaislachkogel peak which dominates the Solden resort. In 12 minutes from the resort at 1363m to the 3048m peak guests on foot or ski / snowboard can reach this new restaurant.
