I called into their store on the weekend and by the today had a complementary snowboard after they had heard our ideas. From the shop staff to the Europe product manager of Burton they were very cool, friendly and approachable people. It seems the ethos runs throughout the firm. I did tell them what I was going to do with their Burton board but I don’t think they wanted to watch the procedure of it being cut it 2!
